Matt graduated from Indiana University’s Kelley School of Business and has been working in the wealth management industry ever since. He started his career at Goldman Sachs and moved to BDF in 2016, where he is currently a wealth manager. In his capacity at the firm, he strives to help his clients live a rich life, not with dollars as the measuring stick, but with memories, impact, and peace of mind as the guiding force. Matt lives in Elmhurst, IL with his wife, Kathryn, and his two kids Evelyn and Henry. When he is not busy chasing his kids around, he loves to work on home projects and spend as much time outside as possible.
How would you define HX and why it is important to your life’s work?
The human experience is the pursuit we all have of finding our purpose and passion in life. Too often, we are distracted from pouring ourselves into whatever makes ourselves and others around us better. Often times, financial worries can deny us the opportunity to seek out these passions. My life’s work is mounting to finding ways that financial knowledge can be the empowerment that is necessary to seek those passions and make the world a better place.
